John A. Burke, Jr. - President and CEO / Broker - Owner
Mr. Burke has been involved in various stages of business development throughout his career. In addition to his interest in Select Sotheby's International Realty, he also owns VISTACO LLC, a strategic management consulting firm. He is Vice President and Board Member for Hannah's Hope Fund for GAN, a local charity based in Clifton Park, NY. He also holds a current license as a NYS Real Estate Broker.
Prior to joining the Select Sotheby's International Realty partners, Mr. Burke served as the Managing Director for the New York division of Core BTS, Inc. (Core) which is a national technology solutions provider, wholly owned by Convergence Technologies, Inc.(CTI) which was formed as an acquisition corporation for the purposes of identifying top level, profitable, technology solutions providers in the Eastern United States which would be candidates for consolidation. Prior to Core, Mr. Burke served as Executive Vice President for Open Systems, Inc.(OSI), which was the first company acquired by CTI. From 1994 - 2004, Mr. Burke served as Vice President of Operations for Open Systems Technologies, LLC (OST) which was a startup venture based out of Clifton Park, NY in 1991. As the 1st employee for OST, Mr. Burke gained valuable entrepreneurial skills as he worked side by side with the company's founder and president to build one of the leading technology solutions providers in the Greater Capital Region.
Mr. Burke holds a Bachelors of Science degree (BS) in Marketing and Management from Siena College, Loudonville, NY.
Kenneth A. Canastar - Licensed Sales Person - Owner
As a full time resident of Pilot Knob on the east side of Lake George in the Adirondacks, Ken is focused on providing the extensive resources of Select Sotheby's International Realty along with his personal knowledge of the region in meeting client real estate objectives.
Prior to joining Select Sotheby's International Realty, Ken owned a technology integration and consulting company with offices in Clifton Park and Long Island and sold the business to a private equity firm in 2004.
Ken's business experience, knowledge of the local real estate market and financial background provides a unique professional asset in meeting client real estate goals.
Joanne DiMarco - Vice President of Marketing and Talent Acquisition
Joanne DiMarco has lived most of her life in upstate New York, graduating from Shenendehowa High School and Paul Smith’s College with a degree in Hospitality Management. After a successful career in the operations end of the hospitality industry, Joanne transitioned into the Sales and Marketing end of the business where she specialized in event planning and management, experiential marketing and event sales and marketing.
In 2003 Joanne became a licensed real estate sales person and handled commercial leasing in Clifton Park for Urban Retail Properties.
Joanne is known throughout upstate New York for her extensive network of friends and clients and for her extensive fundraising abilities and charitable works. She is a sought after speaker on the topics of outside the box marketing, experiential marketing, Adirondack Hospitality and the importance of networking.
Joanne’s unique background in sales, marketing, real estate, event management, public speaking and media buying and selling and working for both high net worth individuals and major corporations brings to Select Sotheby’s International a fresh approach to marketing Real Estate throughout upstate New York.
